Too far to travel?
Some people have said that they would like to do a course but Yorkshire is too far to travel.
I appreciate that it could be a long way so I asked some of my students what they would say to those who have a long way to travel.

Getting Here: By road
From the south:
From the M1 take M621 following signs to Leeds (centre)
At Jctn 4 take A61 exit to Harrogate/Wetherby/York
Left at A6120 Leeds ring road
Then right onto A660 Otley Rd/A65 to Ilkley.
From the west:
From Jctn 26 M62 exit onto M606 Bradford
From the end of the M606 follow round right to A6177 Rooley Lane/Bradford Ring Rd
Then left onto Wakefield Road/A650/A6037 to Shipley
At Shipley turn right onto A6038 Otley Rd/A65 to Ilkey.
From the north:
From Jctn 50 A1(M) take A61 towards Ripon
Turn right onto B6161 Otley Rd then A59 Skipton Rd
At Blubberhouses turn left onto Church Hill. After 3.5m turn right onto Moor Lane. At the T junction turn right onto West Lane
After 2m turn left over the bridge to turn right onto A65 to Ilkley.
By rail
Trains to Leeds:
From London Kings Cross take 2 hours 15 mins approx.
From Manchester Piccadilly or Victoria take about 1 hour.
From Birmingham New Street takes 2 hours.
From Newcastle takes around 1 hour 30 mins.
From Glasgow is just over 4 hours.
Local Trains:
Trains run regularly to Ilkley directly from Leeds and Bradford (Forster Square) and take approximately 30 mins from each.
The Cornmill is a 4 minute walk from Ilkley railway station along Railway Road.
