In previous blog I was a little less than complimentary about Duffields Timber delivery lead times. However, credit where credit is due, I have to say that they redeemed themselves last week.
On the previous week I called into Duffields to pick up some Oak for a beginners course. I also left my little black book on a stack of wood in their yard. Most woodworkers will recognise that losing your little black book,, which, contains all your workshop notes and reminders is a bit of a catastrophe. The following day, the 23rd,I ordered a load of white beech for a forthcoming bench making course and also asked if they had seen my LBB. The beech and my LBB was delivered as advised the following Monday , 28th. Not only is that a good turn round time but they also saved my bacon returning the LBB.
So hat’s off to Duffields and especially Simon in sales who retrieved the LBB.
