First batch of woodworking tools sent to Kids Club Kampala

Posted by on Aug 8, 2017 in Blog | No Comments

The first batch of tools to be sent from the workshop to the Kids Club Kamala carpenter training project were despatched last week. It consisted of two kits to be given to students graduating from the project plus some planes and hand saws, 37 tools in all. I hope this will be the first of many such consignments which will help to cement the link between my workshop and the young crafts people in Kampala.

A generous donation from Neil, who was on a recent book case making course, helped with the transport costs.
