All tools will be provided, sharp and ready to use. We will make a set of three triangular trivetts in different woods. You will prepare the wood square and to dimension then cut the corner joints using both hand tools and machines. After gluing up the pieces will be cleaned up ready for finishing.

This course provides a good introduction to some basic woodworking techniques in a relaxed enjoyable atmosphere

Student comment:

"Thoroughly enjoyed my taster weekend. I have come away with an enthusiasm and appreciation of fine furniture and tools imbued by your own. Your showroom is a jaw dropping testament to your technical skills and this was carried through to your teaching which was crystal clear at all times. Demonstrations accompanied by simplified explanations made the process achievable (even by me!) as well as readily memorable.

An added bonus was having the 2 best nights sleep I’ve had in years! "
